I mean... there’s basically no way to see one gigantic behemoth buying another gigantic behemoth as being a “pro consumer” move.

So they’re buying yet another top tier third party publishing house that has some of the biggest franchises, has historically put games out on everything note, and really has no notable financial problems or requires “investing” at all. I just think moves like this are fucked up.
Well that would explain why Kotick hasn’t gone juuuust yet (no doubt will get a massive percentage of the price) and why Phil is so diplomatic about the answers he gave about behaviours at the place.
Except Starfield is releasing on PC too, a platform where games have to try and cater to many different specifications of hardware, so I don’t really buy Todd’s “ability to focus line”. I don’t have any skin in the game; I mostly play on PC, I just think Todd is generally full of it. Fair play to Pete Hines for not…
I own both consoles, so I’d hardly consider myself a fanboy, but Microsoft’s acquisition took dozens of IPs that have been on Playstation for decades and suddenly said “no more.”
Around a decade ago, Elon Musk and Tesla had a great idea. They developed an electric car that was the opposite of what we had come to expect from one. People thought electric cars were slow so they made it fast. We thought they took forever to charge so they developed a way to charge them quickly and built the…
That is a very flattering color for the Camaro, and also after a hasty redo after nobody liked the following:
You’re not against what they did?
And our lovely president stoked the fires even more. This is how sad America has become. Pathetic.
Their design language is really heading in a bad direction. The new grill is bad, the overuse of creases is not great. The rear lights are a crime and I have nothing positive to say about that bright work around the windows.
Jeep has teased so many great concepts that go absolutely nowhere, I will not get excited for another one until it is at the dealers and for sale.
C’mon guys this isn’t as bad as you make it out. It keeps people from quitting early. When the game is over, the final scoreboard DOES show your deaths as well as your k/d ratio.
Mini’s are growing, and I wish they didn’t. However, they are still “mini” relative to the rest of the market. The Mini Cooper is about 8"(!) shorter than a Fiesta. The Countryman, the biggest car/crossover in Mini’s lineup, is only 2" longer than a Golf, and a hair shorter than a Honda HRV. To find something shorter…
That, and the fact that a lot of modern vehicles have a dashboard indicator for:
-DRLs
-Headlamps
-High beams
And they’re all shaped basically the same. Now combine that with the level of interest of the average Honda CRV buyer, and you have a recipe for my fury.
So, you hate glare and being blinded from incoming headlamps and hate that modern headlamps have a defined beam pattern to reduce/eliminate glare?
“I actually feel the opposite. I have no issue driving with traditional headlights”
So do I, just not in my eye.
I like big lumens and I cannot lie.
...ratings can also be docked for things like excessive glare.
GOOD!! I like how IIHS rates headlights and they take the glare to oncoming traffic into consideration when rating them. Also, having a car with HID and another with incandescent lights, the incandescent are just plain old unsafe. Maybe incandescent was fine when that’s all we had, but now we can affordably do better…
