Sadly, the damage lasts long after their death.

Or they’ll take it personal and be violent or offensive about it, which is a response common to men and encouraged and nurtured by our culture. But then, you don’t give a shit about that, do you, neckbeard?

Rape accusations are bad enough, but opening for Florida/Georgia Line and having to park your tour bus at Walmart....this is all kind of low rent. All is not well there.

Same with Ben Rapelisberger and Jameis Winston. People love rapists if they are talented.

You should hear the screeching when I bring up Kobe Bryant is a rapist.

And I still don’t understand why dishwashers exist if you have to HAND WASH THE DISHES BEFORE THEY GO IN!

Ugh all those people in that dumbass lawsuit against Vibram. Every shoebox has directions for how to adjust SLOWLY to wearing them right on the fucking lid.

This! This is why people hurt themselves when they read a book on barefoot running (and decide its what they must do immediately without any kind of preparation) but have been heel walkers their whole lives.

That is the BEST series. Just wanted to say that :)

Oh you had one too? Yeah, we never got to do “nothing.” You were outside, or reading, or cleaning house.

I’ve seen old Victorian ladies’ guides that talk about the elegance of walking toe-first, vs. all those working-class gals stomping around on their heels, etc. ;D

“We have this energy saving system where if we can be lazy, we are.”

Oh my God the descriptions of the plague in Ken Follett’s “World Without End” gave me nightmares for weeks. I knew plague essentially behaved like a hemorrhagic illness, but the detail was brutal.

I believe I learned about that because of my Felicity Merriman American Girl Doll.

I’m a teacher with a history degree that wants to teach in the museum field, and who loves cosplay and ren fests. What I’m trying to say is, I think I just figured out my dream job.

I’ve actually fallen down the Bubonic Plague YouTube video rabbit hole of late. You think times are shitty right now, you’ve clearly never bled from your armpits, friends. It’s oddly comforting.

"Fargo premiered on a night when we are randomly in freezing temps and getting snow. How very nice."

FX, with Justified and The Americans currently on the air, has had one helluva an impressive drama slate. I know they are planning more miniseries projects; I can't wait to see what they pull off!

Although one would be hard-pressed to frame Molly Solverson as the series' lead, she's absolutely its protagonist, and is just the best.
