You're still here?
Um, yeah I noted that connection and posted the same link way upthread. Yesterday. Soon after the ep. aired.
I, too, kept waiting for a parishioner to bite the priest's hand and was impressed when, instead, Tom's cryptic plea that the priest not use death to fight death was promptly followed by the parishioners' eyes bleeding, their showing signs of pain, and then their dying and reanimating. Very creative and unexpected.…
Yes, indeed, though I don't think Thomas ate a wafer.
Makes sense. Tom Abigail did empasize that he was a parasite, upon first meeting Victor Strand.
Your comment seems disdainful. But isn't it precisely the original (and ongoing basic) function of religion to explain the unexplained? If God is (or the gods are) omniscient and all-powerful, unlike mere mortals, then phenomena humans can't comprehend can be attributed to God's (or the gods') plan.
No more than carnivores do.
Daniel did (explore, that is). Hence, his discovery of Celia's barn - er, cellar - walkers.
Agreed. Also, it struck me that we did not see the gate close after the truck entered the estate. Bothered me as much as did Madison's cutting the fence to her neighborhood and her not closing the gate when the group left for the military hospital to rescue Nick, et. al.
I rather think of her as Santa Muerte.

Ugh! Worse than breaking chickens' legs and throwing them to the walkers, but a nice callback to "Ouroboros", since we first saw the dog eating dead people (and now, dead people are eating the dog).
Yes, Herschel with his barn full of walkers (though he didn't kill his friends and fam), and Terminus with its leave-your-weapons, come eat some "meat" cannibals.
Yes, I agree. And I thought Pirate Bieber's several comments in that vein were perceptive, given Chris' crush on Alicia.
And a zombie ate Lori whole, leaving behind only some long, brunette hair.
Strand revealed he was a real estate developer during the season 1 episode when Maddie was driving him to Strand's seaside house.
Nick knew Strand was adamant about letting anyone new join them on the boat - so much so, that Strand cut the tow cord of Alex and Jake's raft. Nick also knew Strand was trying to evade pirates, and that Alicia had made contact with people who were tracking down the Abigail. So, Nick didn't need a Spidey sense to…
I didn't know him as a boy band member, so my only impression of him is as a pirate; and a find job he did, matey.
Adios. Stay thirsty, amigo.
Nick seemed nauseated by the process of obtaining the zombie guts. Actually, his acting chops, when directed to act "nauseated", impressed me.
Certainly, he could have. Only, he was on a mission to find Luis, and in the process was living up to Strand's assessment of him: "focused, fearless".
