I NEVER got the impression that Strand might be a rapist. A self-interested opportunist - absolutely. Rapist, never.

Luis seems like he'll be fun to watch, but rather horrid to be around. Looking forward to seeing what happened to Tom and Alex.

We learned in season 1 that Strand was a real estate developer; when riding in Maddie's car, he looked out the window and said something like, "I could develop the hell out of this" neighborhood. Even absent that obvious clue to Strand's occupation and source of wealth, surmising he was a drug dealer seems, to me,

Yea. Reminds me of an alternative universe version of "Where in the world is Carmen Miranda?"

I enjoyed the episode (even though I did criticize some aspects of it). Moreover, the graphics and music in the opening credits sure were spooky. Gotta give props where props are due.

I am aware of those differences, and still disagree. I think it's an annoying continuity issue, especially since Chris told the others - after diving in after Nick in a previous episode, set further north, where the water should presumably be colder, if there's any temp. difference - "Come on in, the water's fine".

On another note, about the men in the water:

So, that's two men overboard (Nick and Strand), swimming to shore/floating offshore, and four rafts/Zodiacs (Strand's deflated, Luis/Nick's, Jack/Reid's group's, and Connor's group's), all unmolested by sharks or floating zombies. That's just as unbelievable as the fact that - of all the water joints in all the

RE: "Apparently Mexico has their shit together better then the US."

Sexually, Tom Abigail seems like the aggressor, not Strand (who may not even be gay, just an opportunist - at first, and then someone committed to making himself "useful", ultimately - much in the same vein as Alicia, who's implying she'll give herself to Jack as well as help Connor, in order to protect her family).

Alicia's boyfriend? Or airplane guy?

Dump the teens, enrage their parents. That's courting mutiny.

Which gun Daniel seemed to have limited bullets for.

Or 69

Turns out, torturing the soldier yielded info about "Cobalt". Having that info saved the group members' lives. So, my bigger issue with the torture is: Daniel, et. al. didn't warn their neighbors about operation Cobalt, before heading to the hospital w/o closing the community's gate behind them. (Of course, closing

Did you make the same comment in the "Lost" thread?

Don't sell Chris Hardwick short. He performs a valuable public service. Specifically, in addition to all the functions you cited, he provides a forum where people connected with the show can explain things viewers couldn't possibly get from merely watching the TWD or FTWD, because those things were either poorly

Yeah. Nick is resourceful, a survivor. a bloodhound for drugs (in houses, in the beach wreckage) and for presumably other things he wants or needs, and he has fewer moral qualms and fears than most of his non-addicted cohort.

Strand has to keep reminding people it's his boat, his rules, because the others (like TWD characters) are quickly figuring out there are new rules for property rights. The boat's now all of theirs, and the only things keeping Strand aboard are…dwindling.

Most exciting part of the promo, IMO.
