Jimmy: Permits? We don't need no stinkin' permits.
Yep. But I felt queasy for a few seconds when, for a moment, I thought the soldiers had figured out Jimmy was scamming them, and they were coming to punish him and the phony vet for impersonating a soldier, or at least to eject them off the base.
Plus, in the preview, Kim seems clueless when Howard calls her in "to clear the air".
I'm constantly reminded of how Aryan Howard and Kim both look, and of their physical resemblance. However, despite that superficial similarity and their mutual love for the law, they have very different characters. It was interesting to learn, in this episode, that they have yet something else in common.
And the closeup of the bug on the road reminded me both of Walt and the fly, and of my expectation that Kim will somehow soon, symbolically, get "crushed like a bug".
And, of course, Chuck was wearing green (cha-ching!) over blue, when Howard went to break the news and solicit Chuck's help.
I love, love, love the parallel between the Cary Grant movie Mike's listening to (colleagues get married, and it ruins their relationship both professionally and romantically), and Kim and Jimmy's situation.
Kim's naive about the critical success factors pertaining to a large, regulated client like Mesa Verde, and about those pertaining to an independent practice. For example, she totally missed the point that Mesa Verde didn't just choose her, initially; they saw her as a package deal with a large, white shoe firm.
Chuck practiced financial law (as we've seen before), truly did read the documents he mentioned for fun, and was already up-to-date on Mesa Verde because he was senior partner on that business. So, he needed no special prep for that save-our-client meeting.
And we didn't see Paige's input.
"If you're still watching, you're a dullard."
Yet, you've commented on the ending, as if you've watched it.
Ergo…have you insulted yourself?
Yep. Gimple said, on "Talking Dead", he liked the discussions generated by cliffhangers on "Lost" (like, who was in the hatch) and was going for that here. And Kirkman said Neegan's bat wielding ended one story, while the reveal would begin another.
Bitch nuts. Mother dick. LOL.
Loved the explanation, given on Talking Dead, of those weird-ass epithets.
Yep. A drop (of blood money) in the bucket.
Made Mike want to cringe, too.
Or PM each other.
RE: "I've made good money, and had some amazing times, but I still have nothing to wear when a friend gets married."
In the episode, "Clear", Michonne surreptitiously swiped and ate Morgan's snack. Morgan accused her of taking a snack other than the one she took, and she denied doing so. Rick chastised her later, for taking Morgan's food.
I remember that show ("Low Winter Sun"). Ugh.
