Harley has missed the mark several times and even burned some of their more loyal customers.

The entire market is going down. Granted Harley has had a hand in the decline due to high cost, expensive aftermarket but they are still doing OK.

I have had a few. Used to fly for business around the world so there was always some interesting things happening on flights.

I have been saying for a few years now that we need to have endorsements for types of vehicles that we own. In some states they have done this with motorcycles (sub 700 and over 700cc).

I used to fly 125k-150k a year. Non of it could be done remote.

Back in High School and College I had a 1992 Honda Accord Wagon with a 5 speed. It ran great in the summer and fall. As soon as the temperature dropped to around freezing or lower at night (Colorado) it started a odd issue.

Some (most) vehicles when it comes to the cap can be turned 90 degrees and allow to vent the pressure without the explosion.

I wished for the US Top Gear they would have gotten Jay Leno, Tim Allen and Tanner (from when they tried). That would have been a great show in my mind, two petrol heads and a race driver.

I was returning a car to Hertz or Avis in Germany and when I arrived for my morning flight there was no attendant. I was supposed to use a drop box for they key. Someone used it to return a GPS and clogged up the drop box where I couldn’t open it.

I would agree. While it is amazing the rust, wear and tear didn’t kill the body. It isn’t a real million mile car. Though in todays day and age I don’t think it is possible.

It all depends on the HOA. I used to swear I wouldn’t buy another house in a HOA. Just did a year ago. The one we are in now (I am now a member of the board), isn’t interested in being a police force.

What about a Montero or Trooper?

Stock Harley’s are not loud.  I have nothing bad to say about the quality.  I have put 30k on Harley’s and my current has 14k and has been going strong.  

If you price Harley vs Honda, Indian and other brands they are all about the same price. Granted most people think Harley and go look at the big cruiser bikes. They start off just north of $20k...a Goldwing, Indian and others all are in the same range.

Exactly this. I used to fly an excessive amount. People would finish eating on long haul flights and immediately recline. People behind them would have their food dumped or the chair basically sitting on the food.
