I agree they are down right boring....take one guy with a dream and he builds a car company that in just two decades not only competes with but wipes the the floor with cars from "the established car makers".

To a certain degree it is very much part of the government-

Yes they did this for the hybrid models only, I'd imagine it's for packaging purposes.

I'd say this RX-7 should be a contender, it was less than $8,000 when I found it.

And......This is Jalopnik not Gizmodo, I've already heard to much about this "car", let's talk about it when there's actually something other than speculation to talk about.

So in other words a socialist Apple compound would be made of Detroit?

Yes but he was one of a handful of founders of PayPal, so it was probably easier to sell and split the money. Tesla Motors is much more of Musk's baby, as he has been with Tesla since day one. Also Tesla has a much more "public" image than PayPal and I hear that billionaires like to show what they can do with their

If they do commission a car to be manufactured under the Apple name will it feature Apple maps standard?

Yes, but will it bend?

With as much tech that Apple buys to claim as their own I wouldn't be surprised if they were interested in acquiring Tesla, but I doubt Mr. Musk would be willing to give up his baby no matter what the money.

"Master Designer "..... Jonny Ive

THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! I was thinking that the entire time I read that comment. It's not hard to down size consumer electronics and put them in the same package year after year. The auto industry is not just a different league it's a much more complicated game.

I guess my sarcasm wasn't apparent enough, it's a ridiculous spot for a spare tire, what happens when you're hauling mulch or gravel and have a flat? Unload the contents of the bed on the side of the road to access the spare? And once you've installed the spare you know have a space saver tire that has reduced speed

I hope they still put the space saver spare in a drawer in a trunk under the bed, that idea was brilliant.

That's got to be the most disturbing YouTube video I've ever seen, and I've seen thousands. (I'm filled with such anger when he says "that's our trophy at the top of the pile.") Really is that what illusion you've concocted to justify taking people's property?

I'm thinking it may have been more serious than a mere sneeze.....

Exactly, if you average sales since 2009, they've sold 1200-ish Ridgelines a week over 6 years! That's crazy low production/sales numbers for a company like Honda. Given these sales numbers and the fact production was stopped on the first generation I don't see the higher ups of Honda approving this project to be much

I for one hope it still comes with this feature.

Technicaly there is no current model, it ended production due to lack of sales.

You will come to like the chrome beak give it time.....I've never seen a company pursue a design language like this. They keep applying this hideous beak to all the cars hoping people will like it.
