The problem is when people use the line for large purchases. I use self check out for 10 items max. I love it because it saves me time when done right.
“I am not shocked that part of her health was affected by drugs,” he continued. “If you want to know what killed her, it’s all of it.”
Does this really happen to people, that they get huge charges that they just pay blindly?! If so, how does this happen? Do they not check their credit card transactions regularly or at least review their statements?
My #1 most hated question I get asked on dates is, “So what do you do for fun?”I have no idea where to start or if I should just tell them I spend so much time at work that fun is optional.
“Your toenails look better than mine! Do you get pedicures?” Another dude said this to me in an elevator.
While I agree with your points on principle, this isn’t so easy if you live under an HOA. My parents do, and it’s a really shitty HOA. This is in Southern California, where there is no way to have any lawn without watering. It’s the desert and all. The parents HOA will send you a fine if your grass is yellow or…
We have a real nice carpet of St. Augustinegrass, which can’t be cut short. So I cut at about 3" every three weeks. I’d let it go longer, but urban development comes around every other week to make sure your grass and weeds aren’t too tall.
Every place where I have lived, if you don’t cut your lawn, the local government will do if for you. They will fine you, charge you for it at marked up rates, and will add it to your property tax bill if you don’t pay it.
Are you talking about lucky bamboo (Dracaena sanderiana) ? Its care is pretty different from cut flowers. If it’s droopy or mushy, it might be root rot from over-fertilizing or gross water. You don’t want to trim its end like a cut plant, but if the roots are rotten, you can cut it off the healthy part and re-root it.
I know this is a nono for all the ecofriendly people out there, but it’s simple math to me: the risk I take having to buy drugs and spend time recovering feeling shitty is just not worth whatever nutrition I could potentially get from moldy, dangerously old foodstuff.
In my city you cannot file a report unless you give them all your personal information (name, address, etc) and it must be correct. Then they give a copy of that to the neighbor saying you complained. Ya, that’s a great idea.
