That’s the plan actually - if this strategy works, they plan on making future DLCs free. If expanding this kind of stuff into ships, shaders and anything else that doesn’t have any impact on the game helps - I am all for it.

Things that “in the long run do nothing” are being proposed here as a way to pay for actual DLC content that people won’t have to pay for, because other users drop a menial amount of cash on something that makes their avatar act different.

This is hardly the worst business practice to support.
