lol you get a star for that

I don’t, but citing “evolution” as a reason for change is pretty meaningless. We might as well say “it changes”. Yup, it sure does.... crickets...

Yep, it does have that role currently. Just like lots of other words that mean the same thing. We now have lots and lots of vague intensifiers and fewer capable of precision. The language is diminished by it.

I was not speaking scientifically.

Taking something from being a precise, meaningful term to a vague intensifier strikes me as a curious concept of “evolution”. In fact, it seems like a great example of devolution.

While the car driver was an idiot, the the camera installer is VERY at fault here (though you could argue about the first). Clearly it was installed in a place that was very distracting for all the drivers, especially the blue truck who somehow wrecks a full 10 seconds later, despite a recent accident that should have

lol, I drove that street 2 days ago in a Dodge Grand Caravan. I effing hate San Fransisco driving... “Hey guize let’s make a city with traffic so stupid we can convince people it’s charming.”

Why? Worked for VW. ;-)

This car is... the Altimate.

My old teacher used to say “Attachment leads to jealousy, the shadow of greed, that is. Train yourself to let go of everything you fear to lose.”

The heat energy that would normally be generated when mechanically slowing a car is instead diverted to a device that creates new gasoline that can be burned by the engine. As it happens, that’s why sometimes the “distance to empty” measure given by a car goes up as you drive.

Someone’s just feeling...

Some direction is needed, perhaps. What research or experiments, specifically, would you recommend? How should the experiment be designed?

“Cop decided to ignore the fact the exhaust literally said Mazda on it.”

I can’t give away too much, but I can tell you it’s a variant of the PowerStroke.

Concluding scene, Star Wars IX:

That most definitely should happen. But it won’t.

What, “I’m sorry if you were offended” doesn’t really tug at the ol’ heartstrings and weep tears of sincerity?
