If it wouldn't be such a logistical nightmare, the only real solution to this is to have stuff distributed as close to the deadline that stores need to receive it by for launch date. If it's not there, the street date is less likely to be broken and you're less likely to have leaks.

Because Microsoft consistently make decisions that show they don't understand gamers and gaming, and Valve consistently show that they do. The source of a claim IS important. Valve have earned the right of a little faith from the gaming community.

I remember last year when we were all complaining about the sheer amount of multiplats launching on Wii U as a reason to not buy in to the console. When I look at this launch line up though, most 90 percent of the games I could get on the PS3/360 an not have to spend $500 on new hardware.
