It does't have an official release date yet, just late 2013.
Luckily it is, July is only 3 months away. I'm rather astounded on how quickly this game is coming out. The game itself has been announced for quite some time, but it's nice to get a NA release that isn't 10 months away.

While I did personally enjoy it, I'll be the first to admit that there's a lot of things I found unenjoyable and downright aggravating. I never found the heavy hitters to be engaging, gameplay environments felt noticeably scaled back and some of the cast of characters just didn't properly fit the game.

Better enemy AI sounds great to me. As much as I loved Dark Souls, the enemies could be rather predictable at times. More reactions and possibilities can only be a good thing when it comes to combat.

As someone looking to get into the Metal Gear series, where's a good place to start? I'm thinking of just going with the original Metal Gear first, but is that the best idea? I don't really hear a lot about that game, and am curious as to if it's worth it.

A good read, I would really like to hear more about different developers and their relationships with publishers. There seems to be so many interesting things going on between them, and it's a side we very rarely get a glimpse of.

I earnestly hope my mistake didn't cause too much of a problem.
I think the main reason was the declining interest in the PSP out west. It was released in Japan at the end of 2010, so it would have been at least halfway into 2011 before it could have been localized and brought west. At that point I think Capcom just didn't think it could sell enough to be worth the effort.
I like luigi because I find he has so much more personality then Mario. While Mario is sort of the generic good guy mascot for Nintendo, I find that they actually did a really good job and carving out a believable character for Luigi.
