A good point. Might the same mentality that PC gamers have with Steam transfer through to a console? Provided Microsoft or Sony allow for that kind of thinking to be rewarded I think it could very well happen!

Might as well post this again! It never gets old.

It would be interesting to see that balance point if this happens. Will game prices stay the same? i.e. start at $60 and quickly go down from there. Or will it be a cheaper initial price, but remain that price for a longer time?

Is it bad of me to say that I kind of want this to happen now, just to see how the market responds to such a drastic change?

Oh, I'm not disagreeing with you by any means. It's just the fact that there isn't an alternative way to get those games. I wouldn't go so far as to say that all games will be $60 and stay that way forever, but there's still the fact that the price the publisher decides to set, is the only option you have.

One thing about blocking used games that I never thought about before is that the publisher could in theory, price their games at anything they want and keep it that way. Considering you have digital and retail versions, and they both cost around the same, there would be no other way to get that game. I see used games

I've posted it here before but here's the final stage music.

Oh man I was sooo close to having that glitch. I saved in the room you're not supposed and my game crashed. Somehow everything was fine and I continued on my merry way, but other people haven't been so lucky I guess...

Man I remember playing KoTOR 2, it was my first Star Wars game and I was awful at it. It took me days just to get off the starting rock you where stuck on and even after that I barely scrapped by. I have some pretty fond memories and would love to see the same studio make another game.

Shhh. Don't ruin the surprise for Stephen!

Oh dear, it appears you've attracted that certain part of the internet's ire.

Who's the redacted character? It better not be Henry, that dude is awesome.

Are games really this out of sync with the general public?

Oh man I am loving the Etrian Odyssey demo! I was thinking of skipping this game, but after trying it out I just don't think I can.

I actually enjoy it. While it did catch me off guard at first, it really adds to the games charm.

They said I could be anything, so I became a camera.

Here's a picture I took of a mounted unit. Her leg is to the left, still no feet.

The same, from any angle they don't have feet.

I do know. That would be completely impossible without several pianos.
