This was my first reaction as well. Ever since the “white student union” thing, I’ve seen people and media screwing up UIC, U of I and U of C all over the place.

U of C is a predominantly white school in the middle of the mostly black south side of Chicago, with a pretty nasty racial history. It was due to the university’s influence, for example, that there is no El stop in that neighborhood. The university didn’t want more black people coming through.

This is the only accurate white people-Redskins replacement.
