Watch out for that tree!
Same here. Hopefully this is a temporary thing.
Oh, I didn’t mean to bum you out about the podcast! You’re right that, if it is fiction, it’s very well done. Most of those types of podcasts come off very stagey, but this one has a naturalism to it that makes it very believable.
Isn’t that a fiction podcast? I can’t seem to get a good answer on that.
I remember Death Cab’s Chris Walla tweeting the link to the video and joking that they oughta send Ben Gibbard royalties.
Just chiming in to say that that still of Jay Baruchel makes him look just like Daniel Day-Lewis.
Wow, that’s harsh.
And “Beautiful Girls” is a favorite of mine.
I was just talking with someone about how that basic time loop premise could be applied to other genres. I personally think a courtroom drama would make for a good time loop exercise: retrying one case until the innocent man goes free or the guilty man gets put away. Once he got all of them out there, his tank was empty. That's honestly how I see my career going if I had followed through on my…
I was reading this thread wondering why everyone was misremembering Olivia Wilde as Megan Fox, and then I realized I was thinking of "Cowboys and Aliens." That might be the first time I've thought of it since I saw it.
I'd love to see myself become a Joey. He's the aspirational character, right?
That also felt kinda icky to me. Still, that dynamic led to the reinterpretation of the "Miyagi beats up children on Halloween" scene, playing right to Jackie Chan's talents. Since it would be weird for him to physically assault these bullies now that they're so much younger, he essentially manipulates them into…
Oddly, it was announced a couple years ago that "The Jaunt" was being adapted into a film, to be helmed by none other than "It" director Andy Muschietti. It seems that cooler heads prevailed.
