I’ve had no issues with batteries after a year. They’re pretty solidly build as is the charger. Modern Li-Ion batteries are pretty long lasting in general. I have some Ryobi batteries going on 6 years old that still keep a good charge.

Same. I have the 60V version and can get 1/2 acre cut on one charge without the power assist. I’d image this 40V version would cover 1/4 acre or so. Great mower!

Once “screen film” is perfected (rollable, pliable screens) they’ll become a disposable commodity. Could see a future where you just stick a screen to a wall like wallpaper and you just have to pay for the tuner/remote receiver to clip on to it.
I remember when those came out. I was in high school and everyone was talking about getting one for their first car.
Nobody did.
My 09 Chrysler Town and Country had an 8 speed transmission with 140K miles and the engine/transmission were still perfectly fine with no major repairs (rest of the car was crap though- Chrysler seems to be talented at making rusty vehicles).
You’re not losing anything. In fact, if you have enough zest, just add the juice and forget the rest (you’re maining interested in the oil extract...that’s what flavors everything). The caramelized lemon slices are nice for aesthetic reasons but the oil/juice is your main focus.
On a side note, be careful brining a…
The purpose of the lemon isn’t intended to flavor, it’s an acid and meant to react with a base (baking powder for example) to create gas and make things fluffy. I often use apple cider vinegar in my pancakes for the same reason.
Lemon is a great flavoring though- Bavarians love lemon on their pancakes/baked goods.
Yep. Cars made a huge jump in reliability from the mid-2000's to now. 70-80K miles used to be the “I need a new car” point. Now cars are making 200K miles without much more than oil changes and minor repairs.
I have a 2006 Scion xA for example with 170K miles on it. Other than tires, brakes, a battery, and an…
This appears to be an example of modifying a car and not knowing how to handle the results. Those low-profile tires look like the equivalent of putting ice skates on that GT.

Nah. I just rely on “So...champ....good to see you...sport....lookin’ good buddy...see you later pal!”
So....everyone that actually buys new cars? :D
Actually predicted this as soon as the Livewire was announced: HD has a Buick problem- the main people attracted to the brand are 55+ year olds. This group also tends to be of the luddite generation, so introducing a high-tech electric bike is going to be completely lost on them.
20+ year olds view HD as a relic brand…
Kia and Hyundai still have brand stigma around them...so much that I fear they’ll have to change their names to get rid of it. The Genesis line from Hyundai is doing well...and I’m guessing because it doesn’t have the Hyundai name on it. The Kia Stinger is a fantastic vehicle- it’s an affordable Korean 4 door Mustang…
Nissan has potential, they just keep cheaping out on everything, and it’s showing in their quality.
The new Maxima and Altima designs are fantastic...even head-turning. Unfortunately they’re paired to a terrible transmission, an ancient engine design, and FWD. Interiors are very nice, but the things that keep the car…
I went through this a few years ago- stagnated at a job for 17 years and couldn’t decide if I should ride it out or try something new. Got a “too good to be true” job offer, and turns out it was true- I was just shortchanging my worth and was buying into the “you’re not good enough” beatdown environment at that job.
Som…

Only 80's Merc I’d seriously consider buying are the diesel versions.
