As long as you also love buying a huge jug of olive oil as the only size option!

Let me try slightly more helpful advice.

"A good marriage is one of the hardest things you will ever do. That can't be stressed enough."

Edit: should be "the brain-training site Lumosity" (rather than Luminosity)

Great article! For some reason, I feel like I got more out of this one than some of the others in the series. Perhaps it was because a lot of the advice was general and practical, instead of being tied closely to a particular gadget / app / etc.

One of the best tips I ever read about this was a simple adage: "Shoot in color. You can always take color away (software conversion to B/W) but you can't add it back in if you shot black and white in the first place."

It should not be overlooked that a house purchased for $89K was later sold for $199K. That's a big piece of the story right there. At the very least, that allowed for (I'm assuming) a VERY healthy downpayment on the next house and a significantly lower monthly mortgage payment than what would normally occur, and

Really? Anytime I've gone with times that short for loose leaf black or green tea, they just come out weak and watery with no flavor. For what it's worth, I tend to use 1 tsp tea per 8 oz. of water.

The use of "though" could also be correctly attributed to the fact that the inverted method (as well as extended steeping) is not the prescribed brewing method according to the manufacturer.

Right, which is why my comment was "Don't overdo it with mileage increases." I mentioned 10% as the usual number, but I certainly don't live and die by that number.

Good advice. I've tried to become less of a heel-striker by adjusting my cadence to closer to the 180 strides/min target. Every time I try to become a forefoot runner, though, it's like you said - feels very uncomfortable, and my calves hurt like hell. I think the happy medium for me is to try to become a midfoot /

Yeah, my running clothes (post-use) often get banned to outside until they're ready to go into the washing machine. :) Some of the newer clothes out there are incorporating silver-ion technology (or similar) which supposedly prevents bacteria and odor from staying around. If it works, great.

The kid workshops at Lowes and HD are geared toward really young kids - like ages 5-8. However, I was going to chip in with the idea of attending the "adult" how-to sessions that these stores have on weekends.

"I’m on track to run over 3,700 miles in 2011. That’s over 20% more than 2010."

No. Just..... no.

Definitely agree that reading body language is a valuable skill! I could certainly benefit from developing that one further. Along the same lines, I should probably also learn to tailor my own body language better for others who are skilled at reading it!

Thanks for the lengthy response!

I'm the same way, I use both. A trilogy, really, since I use (1) Pen and paper; (2) simple smartphone apps (currently ColorNote on Android); and (3) web-based organizers like Trello and Workflowy.

If I may ask, what kinds of things did you do that you found enjoyable doing solo? I've never been to Vegas, but just in case I happen to end up there, it'd be helpful to have a few ideas in my back pocket.

Curious: which "major online bank chain" still has high interest rates on savings accounts? I'd love to move some money to a place where I can get more than 0.1%. I used to get 5% but that was about 3-4 years ago.
