I loved the horror/gothic elements in this one, especially Fred in his nightmares being haunted by (offscreen) zombies, which continues to be a motif on the show (foreshadowing an Afterlife with Archie plotline?)

Yeah I am no fan of cruel torture porn deaths, but I think Riverdale did well to end its very poorly conceived Miss Grundy storyline in no uncertain terms.
The cinematography of this show is excellent, slow motion at the appropriate time, extensive use of depth of field, no annoying shaky hand held shots. This is great stuff.
I love how Cheryl is already freaking out her peers & terrorizing her previously abusive mother, and sweeping into the hospital like a queen.
I love this insane show. Cheryl is a beautiful nightmare, and I can’t wait to see where the Blossom story goes.
Kevin is now a regular, so hopefully he gets more to do (besides look really attractive next to an entire cast of really attractive people).
I AM SHOOK
Hold up, Pops...Riverdale had RIOTS?
I have a tendency to find myself not very interested in Ridley Scott’s opinions on matters of character and storytelling, and wish he’d just stick to making pretty pictures.
By now it should be obvious....they know you shippers exist, they know what you want, and they are never, ever going to give it to you, electing instead to insert one tease in each episode that almost goes there but not quite.
I like the childhood bullies line because it trips you up for a second. For how long exactly was Chidi planning to be a professor? It seems like something he should have endlessly agonized over, comparing against an equally good option like...
I’m hoping we see a magic panda at some point. Delighted to see the return of the Janet kill switch, each “death” was funnier than the last. Who WILL take care of her birds?

If ever one of you guys gets to interview Schur or someone involved with this show, I would be fascinated to learn just how long it took to shoot this episode. Because the sheer number of set ups and wardrobe changes necessary for all those iterations of The Good Place must’ve been time consuming, yet so worth it.
We’re in Michael’s bad place. I’d bet almost anything on it at this point. He’s being punished. Some (or all) of the other demons might be, too. Sean’s not unaware of what’s going on; he’s the real architect. And at the rate this show burn through plot, that might be confirmed next week.
There are so many great details and jokes in this show, but I still love how quickly Eleanor tends to go along with anyone’s suggestions—which are often her mistaken impressions that someone wants sex, but in this case was watching Cannonball Run 2 and immediately wanting a quick recap of the first one.
Rewatched s1 between last week’s episode and this week’s, and it was a great idea. Helps keep gags/storylines fresh, would recommend it. I love this show so damn much and after rewatching I’ve come to appreciate the philosophy that’s weaved in throughout even more. Such a fun and funny show.
Sushi & The Banshees is everything I want from this world.
It’s probably a toss up, they all hit real different spots for me. Fever to Tell has the best songs (I’ll go on record as calling Maps my all time fav song) even if the album itself isn’t all gold. Show Your Bones has intense nostalgia (listened to it a lot while learning to drive) and more focus and my favorite…
I liked Fever to Tell a lot but when I first got Show Your Bones and gold lion starts I was instantly in love so... nah I agree it’s their best
Nope. It’s a great record. If you had said Mosquito I’d be worried.
