Well, what have you done to help my credit rating?

I haven’t watched Riverdale, but I love the concept and the execution that they went for with it... and the idea of seeing Sabrina the Teenage Witch in THAT world is a genuinely cool one! Might just get me interested enough to start in on season one...
I am more interested in the rumor that Dove Cameron might be cast as Sabrina the Teenage Witch this season on Riverdale.
Maybe like with Bear on Person of Interest, the Defenders could share Lockjaw!
I vote Boxer, largely because Slow Show is my favourite thing they’ve ever done and Guest Room and Ada come very close.
Alligator will probably always be my favorite of theirs, but I still do love Boxer. I weirdly don’t even love Abel all that much, but I do miss there not being anything like Abel on their later albums.
He is great, and really impressive live. I saw them play ‘Squalor Victoria’ the first time I saw them play live and was blown away.
Not that new, but have you seen It Follows and The Witch yet? Hard to think of two better horror films from the past 5 years (since you mentioned Don’t Breathe already)
Yes, the Ouija prequel is way better than it has any right to be. Worth checking out.
Loved this. Loved that the reveal didn’t affect Jane’s decision, that they tied Kat’s online worldview into both her love story and the episode’s strong theme, and Sutton still putting her job first in the midst of an absolute shitshow of a love life.
To be honest, I never wanted a masterpiece; if I wanted that, I have the novel right on my shelf. I wanted something that was fun and violent and intense, more of a horrific fantasy film than a slow building creepfest, a new film for the Halloween marathon rotation. It seems I got exactly what I wanted.
Ugh. Not a crier, but I teared up when Jacqueline took the weights. Knew it was coming, still hit hard.
I did not expect to be so moved by this finale. Both sharing the weight scenes were so affecting and beautifully done. I adore this show.
“I wouldn’t say [I felt] powerless, only curious.”
WAYSIDE! YES! No child should be without the seminal writings of Mr. Sachar. Will and Gwen, if you don’t mind, here’s more kidlit that was indispensable to grade-school me:
Huh, oddly it isn’t letting me edit my comment. I was gonna add, Sweet/Vicious is one of the few instances where I feel like a fan campaign to get Netflix to bring it back might even actually work! It’s not like it was that expensive of a show with ornate, specific sets, or the actors terribly high-profile (although…
Commenting purely to mention “oh hey, I recognize that actor from Sweet/Vicious!”
I can’t stop liking this show, even knowing that with modern safety codes, there is no way in hell even POTUS would “trap” people in an adjacent office building, or even the building he is dining in. I just don’t care because the core of this show (the relationship among the three friends) is so lovely to watch, I am…
Finale needs to be like the final scene of Angel
Heathers is one of my all-time favorite films. It is what I watch on Netflix or Blu-ray or whatever for comfort. I not only quote it often, I even recently bought a fucking t-shirt referencing the film. Having said all that I will say what I said when this was first announced for TV Land (and also what I said when the…
