I knew something was wrong with Chopper in his first appearance in the short “The Machine in the Ghost,” when instead of repairing the ship during a firefight, he headed to the tail gun and blew up the last tie fighter himself. 2ND DEGREE DROIDS ARE NOT SUPPOSED TO BE ABLE TO KILL PEOPLE. As in, they’re supposed to be

I figured it was possible that the fog was transparent to whatever frequencies were used by any electromagnetic sensing organs the aliens might have, or otherwise not an impediment to their senses, but if it wasn’t in the book that seems less likely.

Once upon a time I saw a supercut of this, but I can’t find it any more...

This is a sandbox game though, with a massive procedurally generated galaxy. Theoretically every world is a unique place with its own history, and people start out all over the place. Adding unique hand-crafted content to every world in this setting would be beyond impossible, but adding that same content everywhere

I think Kirk’s experience with the Atlas narrative in his first playthrough clearly demonstrates the flaw in this line of thinking. The game’s universe is too vast for a hand-crafted story. Such content requires people and time, both of which are always strictly limited. Either you’d never experience that story unless

Missed one:

Nah, I expect the game mode just uses the same character spawning code as the regular game, and they forced it to auto-select Lucio for you. Clearly that system is has a few bugs.

This is what happens when most of the lore is made up by various merchandisers. The letter designation of the starfighters (and the names of a lot of the aliens and droids) were created by Kenner when they named the toys. The Aurebesh alphabet was cobbled together later by West End Games (who made the first Star Wars

Yeah, woe to any stormtrooper that accidentally blasted Leia (the only one of them that knew where the rebel base was) during the heroes’ escape attempt. That trooper would have a very short exit interview with Vader afterwards.

Yeah, I always liked this fan-made one better:

I’d kinda disagree with the “got right” points though. Thrawn was a walking deus ex machina “genius” whose plans only worked because the author said they did. Mara Jade was kinda cool but clearly fan-servicey, and the Nogrhi were an entire species of alien space ninjas. Talon Karrde was the only decently complex

That’s why I loved the EU X-wing books. Mostly new characters, with only a handful of movie characters in supporting roles or cameos.

And before that it was The Division, and before that Rocket League. Dark Souls is in there CONSTANTLY. That’s just how it goes - these reflect what people are playing and posting. Just chill, and this too shall pass.

Or forcing it to stop to attempt an attack/kidnapping of the occupant.

Other than a small group of very vocal complainers, I think they’ll be fine. I’ve never really gotten people whining about their choices “not making enough of an impact”. What did people expect, that because you picked a particular dialogue option with Conrad Verner, the Reapers would vanish and you’d be off having

It had so many creepy undertones. The elderly volcano had a thing for the fresh young volcano, but he got old and couldn’t get above the waves, until her song made him “rise”...

So this would be... Three Moon Wolf?

“No matter where you go, there you are”

I always wanted to a series about the adventures of the U.S.S. Excelsior starring George Takei.
