Correction: he looks like a sadomasochistic goon who would probably enjoy it a little too much when Batman knocks him out with one punch — oh, wait, that’s the Joker in a nutshell.

It’s not hard to figure out. Sound out each letter. You’ll get it!
I agree. Ledger’s performance was interesting, but that character wasn’t the Joker.
Uh, the Joker always (ok, usually) wears bespoke purple suits and is always decked out. If he gives a shit about one thing, it's looking good. if not, he'd just be in average shirts and jeans.
Mob boss you say?
Given that the Joker fetishizes his clown-like face (whether that’s due to a chemical bath, makeup, or whatever version of the character is in play), I don’t think that last sentence is correct at all.
Well ledger wasn’t really the joker. I mean thats what his character was named but he was more like a mix of anarky and clock king. I’ve alays felt the joker should be off putting, whereas ledgers was just so damn charismatic. I couldn’t ever hate ledger’s joker because he was just so goddamn cool.
Quentin Tarantino came to Comic-Con to discuss his upcoming movie, The Hateful Eight, and despite seven minutes of…
It would be nice if they only just told him “Go be awesome!” without following up that sentance with some debbie downer bullshit bad advice.
Uncle Ben “Peter with great power comes great responsiblitiy”
Of course he doesn’t. When he was rocketed from his dying planet, he could have gone on past Earth, and hurtled into the endless blackness of space forever. He would have been FINE man, just FINE.
Because characterization means fuck-all to Snyder. He basically only uses dialogue to get from one setpiece to another. That’s why so much of it is nonsensical, like Ma Kent giving Clark Ayn Rand advice instead of, you know, the way she’s been characterized for seven decades.
Who is Clark Kent?
I believe Clark’s story in the Snyder films is similar to the “Red Son” Superman comics. Instead of “what if Clark landed in Soviet Russia,” it’s “What if Ma & Pa Kent were selfish shitbags?”
Yes, but compare that to Uncle Ben’s advice. This is Ma Kent via Ayn Rand...
So what you are saying is that “With great power, comes great responsibility” is a load of bullshit and you should only look after yourself. That’s not a hero, that’s a super villain.
Which... kind of boggles my mind. Surely the moral obligation which people have, if any, is relative to their capabilities.
This comment is just as played out as the scene in which it criticizes.
So if Luthor has Zod’s body, it’s a fair guess to say he also possesses Zod’s armor that was discarded during the fight. He could make his power armor from that.
Get ready for all the cynical comments!
