I think Dead Space 3 gets waaaay too much flack. Yes the microtransactions are stupid and the forced second player only continues to shy away from the survival horror elements... I personally found that you rarely need to change the cutter to vertical. The horizontal shot takes off their legs, and then as the arms start to prop them back up, it’s another easy horizontal shot. Can someone tell me a good use for the vertical shot? One of the necromorphs that is weak to it?
