Yea, ever since I saw those comics in a 90's Nintendo Power, I’ve been waiting for them to tell that story.

Metroid II is a very special game for me. Like any other 14 year old, I was having a troubled time in life and Metroid became my perfect escape. I was dragged to church which was in the rented gym of a school. After the sermon when everyone had left, I would play Metroid in a darken gymnasium, laying on top of a huge

I believe that it is totally possible when something gets you angry enough your brain can go to the most unacceptable thing you can think of to say. But I think the only reason your brain would decide to use that word is if you grew up in an environment where it was said often, and known to unacceptable. The worse

I’m guessing most of the comments will be mercy mains, myself included. I am in for a treat with the changes because I always played my mercy as an in-the-trenches hero. I hated how if I did my job right I could never get any good rezzes off. I don’t just pocket heal someone and wait for the unhealed characters to

I tend to agree with the unboxing rule, but talk about a display box done right.

Now playing

Aw, I like that song.. The only song that I absolutely couldn’t stand, it was the dwarf-people song.

There it is.

On the other side of the spectrum you can get collector grade KO Transformers that are actually better than the original thing. The “Wei Jiang” knockoffs are the original hasbro/takara toys, usually upsized by a couple factors, and then detailed with automotive grade paint and chrome. They even tweak the mold to bring

I love that toy collecting has wormed it’s way into the mainsteam on this site, Fahey was the best thing to happen to Kotaku in a while.

“something I played offline now as to not seem “dumb” to my peers online.”

Well at least the article is filed under the correct grouping.

You gotta understand, I think I was a very influential 14 years old when Chrono Trigger came out and it was my whole world. I loved that game. So when the sequel came out and it had seemingly nothing to do with anything, I was devastated. I had only ever played direct sequels. So I could never give the game a fair

Congratulations, you’re wrong. Enix made some incredible titles.. Besides, it was Squaresoft that decided you should watch your videogames instead of play them. I’d say they were the bad influence here.

Finally someone mentions Illusion of Gaia. That game was incredible, and taught me video games can have true character progression beyond what you see coming.

I think it’d loose its charm in 3D.

On point.

I personally feel Chrono Cross should be recon’ed out of the series canon, but Chrono Trigger is an undeniable masterpiece. It received a good polish in the DS version, I’m not sure it needs to be remade. It was at the height of the SNES’s graphics, it aged beautifully, and there is nothing I would try to improve in

These are both Enix games that don’t get mentioned a ton:

Those are some high quality pixels... I don’t even know the original of they-all-fucked-hawk.
