Yea, that doesn’t surprise me. Those cards are in two halves, you can see the seam along the edge. Once shit gets in there, it’s game over baby. :p

Pretty sure the cards are sudo-potted, meaning the components are over-molded with plastic. So you’d lose the label and silk-screening and it might look a little smooth, but it should work fine. You didn’t ask for a serious answer, but you got one.
