While I was learning Sym, a couple of times I placed a teleporter at my enemies’ feet while panic ulting. Rather I hit Q, realized it did me no good, and couldn’t get out of it so I would eventually spaz-click. Once it even paid off with a fresh batch of reinforcements. The enemy tracer was surprised, but my teammates

He actually never stopped beyond a few months according to him. Started working on the free patches that adds new start zones, new romance options. Says the free updates will keep coming, and hopes to keep adding pairs (one guy, one girl) of people to romance, each update. The guy is a pillar.

When mechs started turning into boats, I started to lose faith completely. I’m sure they stand on their own merits, but they just don’t feel connected at all to the Eva I fell in love with circa 1999.

Co-fi-tah~

I got him. I got the Reaper. I got the Hog. All I wanted was Mercy. *weeps quietly*

Actually its coming out next friday.

Ah, I see you’ve repaired some electronics before. Those rubber bands almost always perish and end up as a sludge on the rollers.

Holy shit... You just made me feel all 35 years of my life at once. The Koala Pad was my JAM. There was some kind of basic paint tool I used to play with on my Apple II clone. Eventually ruined it by using something unsuitable as a stylus. Father was not pleased.

I am immediately reminded of my first experience in Windlands. You’re able to bound incredible distances, and running and jumping in that game was incredibly freeing, let alone the grappling hooks. This game looks like it needs VR.

As an 80's kid, I agree. This look started in the 80's with the 286 turbos and what have you.

It’s the reaction you will see people in 10 years give when you talk about that game Halo, and how it was an ordinary shooter (which it was from my perspective). Some fantasies hold more power over others, to extend your Christ metaphor.

A delusion then...

This is where the act of critiquing something breaks down. The idea of something being better (in a subjective way) but less desirable.

You’re doing the lord’s work, Son.

Oh damn...

Tough to say. Nostaglia is hard to nail down sometimes, because I feel like the GBA games were missing that atmosphere (music probably) and sense of emptiness and dread. Ask a kid who played them at the same age as me when I played Super Metroid, and they will tell you that magic is present in the GBA games.

No one warned you dethroning on a good game will get a reaction?

Aren’t opinions fun? You get to be as wrong as you like! Also, making inflammatory remarks without explaining yourself is fun too; I see you know.

You’ve got a lot to learn so I’m gonna let that comment slide; But the next time you compare Super Metroid to a bunch of monkies, I might have to hurt you. For your own good, you understand.
