Not what I was saying, all people who experience DV matter. The vast majority of those who experience DV are women. To leave gender from the DV conversation would be foolish.

I’m a trained DV advocate and I have had gay male clients. Those without means (male or female) for a restraining order could apply to the DOVE program for a free lawyer. The larger issue was divorce and custody which requires more legal work.
