This made me think back to all the games I played and there was never a character that looked like me. But I never cared. Why is that? Is it that I am super special in that I don’t care?

Emulation-haters, please apply your “somebody COULD do something illegal with it, so it is EVIL” kind of logic to other stuff: guns, knives, cars, telescopes, chemicals, money, mouths, ears, eyes. BAN THEM ALL.

For a prototype it makes sense to just use what is readily available, standard components. Some PlayStation controller prototypes (when it was planned as a SNES add on) had D-Sub connectors. JVS arcade boards use USB connectors with a non-USB protocol. :-)

If they had versions for normal people with normal amounts of money I would buy one.

Maybe buy a used copy then? Oh wait, that’s punishable by death now.. :-(
