So, I live in a part of the world where hot dogs are not a common foodstuff - I’ve heard of them, seen them, but the words “hot” and “dog” next to each other make me think of my cute pup in the summer.

The band System of a Down are also Armenian American and I remember they used to discuss the genocide pretty regularly. However, they’re not exactly on the same celebrity scale as the Kardashians!
There’s a word for it in German - Backpfeifengesicht. A face that is begging to be hit.
I was on the pill from 16 to 27, at which point I moved to the UK, where they won’t prescribe the Pill for women with mild heart conditions. I originally went on the Pill to deal with mood swings, so I was pleasantly surprised when they didn’t recur off the Pill. I didn’t expect or appreciate the acne on my chest and…
PMDD is horrendous, my heart goes out to you. I hope you feel better soon.
I need to know more.
Dating as a therapist is SO HARD. I tend to set firm boundaries quite early on, naming the emotional dumping when it’s happening and making a joke of it - if they’re not paying me, I’m not therapising them.

Evidence suggests that there's about an 8pc success rate for AA, so science is on your side. It's understandable that you're disappointed at your friend's relapse, it's hard to think of it as being outside of her control, like a relapse of depression.
I had my wisdom teeth out a few years ago under general anaesthetic and I was completely terrified. Like you, the idea of being out of control scared me, and after a few bad experiences with doctors I didn't trust them an inch. Sorry to hear that :( Bodies do weird things sometimes.
Let me know if I'm way out of line, but is there any chance you have hypothyroidism? Up to 1 in 8 women have it, and one of the signs is this:
Doulas get a lot of stick, but I just wanted to say that it sounds like you'll be doing great work. In my therapy practice I've seen many women with PTSD following traumatic birth experiences, and traumatic birth experiences are also one of the major risk factors for postpartum depression, postpartum psychosis and…
Because Jesus died when he was 33.
You are so full of shit I don't even know what to do with you. Just a few things:
You know the way you're meant to study for exams under exam conditions, as that means that when you're in the same context you are more likely to remember the info? That's the effect of context. There was an experiment done in California a few years ago where deep sea divers memorised words on the beach or under…
