What's the first prominent women's blog that springs to mind, here and now?

I imagine "things get weird" refers to the too close, suffocating, professional/personal dynamic between Stewart's character and Binoche's character, since there's no lesbian relationship between them in the film. They read lines to each other, and the characters they read have a lesbian relationship, but that's it.

There's a male director in the movie, and Moretz's character has a love interest...but yeah, they're basically add-ons to the film!

He did, but it's even more interesting than that: The movie is about an actress who had an affair with the director of her first play when she was 18. The movie highlights the parallels between the play-within-the-movie and the experiences of the characters in the movie, and it reaches a whole new level of weird when

I saw it at a film festival recently, and it was decidedly meh. I really wanted to like it, and I like what they were trying to do...but it just left me cold. It was intellectually interesting but I just didn't care about the characters.

Not when both dictionary definitions say "colloquially, these things mean the same thing now".

I need to know more about this Victorian porn.

Oh quite possibly, I wasn't saying it was THE most annoying mix up. Just the one that I noticed :)

Yeah, I mean it in the earlier sense. A judge should be disinterested but not uninterested, going by what I learned in school. If I accept that disinterested and uninterested now mean the same thing, then I have to accept that literally can now mean figuratively, and that's a step I'm not willing to take.

unimpressed and unaffected by, or even disinterested in, the women around them.

Mine went away when I took three omega 3 tablets per day for a month or so. I recommended it to my little brother and he had the same experience. YMMV!

It was weird here in the suburbs of Munich, there was about 15 minutes of fireworks, shouting and screaming and then it stopped completely. Like everyone looked at the clock and realised they'd have to get up for work today.

Hai, I'm a psychologist. Literally.

DSM and all that diagnosis jazz is psychiatry rather than psychology/therapy...though some therapists do buy into it, they have no say in the construction of the DSM.

You pay for their training and expertise. The caring is an extra that's sometimes present.

I'm a therapist and I call bullshit on that. What matters is how you deal with the trauma, not the amount of time that passes (Hoeksema, 1991). The 90 days thing refers to the amount of time it takes your brain to stop reacting to images and thoughts of your ex with lovey-dovey neurotransmitters, and in that 90 days

It probably depends what part of the UK you live in - the postcode lottery, right? When I lived in Wales I got a letter EVEY MONTH for a year telling me to come in for my pap smear as I was over 22 and they said it was a totally essential procedure. My old address probably still gets those letters.

PLEASE can we have superheroes, Transwoman and Blackwoman? That was the image that came into my mind when I read your post and saw those words run together. They can fight the patriarchy and general douchebaggery.

My sister's friend ended up in hospital last week because she got 2nd degree burns....from lying in the sun in Maryland. I can't get my head around it. HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE? Even for an Irish girl?
