We have the ambitiously stated 405 mile range Model S. I’d say for 100% of our M-F driving (obviously during the pandemic it is much less active), we could get by with 50-75 miles of range.
I saw this at Sundance - it started out interesting but went off the rails quickly. I was thoroughly disappointed.
This is a fascinating question - mainly because my partner and I just had this conversation. We got a model S last fall, and our “activity” car remains a subaru. We just put an order in for a Cybertruck (for skiing, camping, etc), and we agree that is going to be our final flip over to electric.
