The first post I dismissed was at least a long defense of Amanda Knox - and though I am not on that team, I did reply to/star several people who disagree with me and were polite. But it was rude, so I dismissed.

I am not 100% sure she was involved, but I am absolutely sure that by lying to the police over and over again, she and her boyfriend did enough to justify being considered suspects, and it was not the “evil Italian police just hate Americans for no good reason!” prosecution her PR company told the US it was.

Knox knew cause it was disclosed in court. Just like she knew she wasn’t interrogated for 10 hours.

Yeah, the “maybe we’re all going to have it out” is awfully ominous.

It’s even worse than that. This is Trump, in a backhanded manner, publicly pressuring the DOJ to follow his orders. By law he’s not allowed to go to them and order them to do something. But there’s no law that says he can’t go out publicly and say “I sure wish they would do the thing I want them to do.”

I defy anyone to read this and not fear for the future of our democracy.
