I totally love Yevgenia Medvedeva’s tragic Russian themes. She’s Russian and she’s not afraid to show it! Her free skate this year is to Anna Karenina, complete with train whistles.

The thing you’re missing is that “a ton of space between them” makes their elements easier to perform than the others.

Well as a retired figure skating judge I have to say it — Maia Shibutani is not as good of a skater as her brother. He would go a lot further with a better partner, IMHO.

I used to be a figure skating judge, and I’d have given the gold to Papadakis & Cisero. But it was very close between the two top teams.

Chiming in late to say that Yuka Sato was a brilliant skater. Still in my top 5 female skaters of all time for her pure technique.

Still hoping they win. I think they’re better skaters than Virtue & Moir.

It was also abusive that her mother gave that recording to the media. Now the whole world knows her father said that to her. I’m sure she got some bullying about those words from peers.

Italian here. Don’t believe everything you hear about the mafia. It’s not like in the Godfather movies. If you’re not messing with their business, they’re not going to mess with you.
