My faith in a lot of the Steam community was already shaky at best, this doesn't help any.

It's one of those problems where if you have the song in your head, you get the connection and it works. IE: Tapping on your desk or something when you're bored. Others likely won't recognize it and whatever.
It's been a bit difficult to get my friends who are used to the likes of Counter-Strike and Battlefield 3 to SLOW down and understand that attacking the police isn't the objective, especially as I've learned how the spawning mechanics work.
Yup, they've been doing really well about discussing what's going on with the test. While some may complain it's merely a demo/market test, I truly believe that they want some testing on early content as well as mechanical issues (FOV having been the biggest problem that was remedied in less than 24 hours) without…
A better ceiling on all consoles means better utilization of PC resources when those games are put on the PC platform.
Oh sure, I'd have them connected, but I didn't have them all running at the same time.
Mine does in fact have access to more than 4.5GB for games. Part of it is that I need an x64 build, but some games do in fact have those.
x64-based applications can and do.
I've been having a blast with it. Hell, if you ever feel adventurous, try playing it with the HUD off.
Because a fan is a significant cost, because a wireless chipset is a significant cost. We're talking around 40% of the RAM is reserved and two cores are reserved for the OS when it really shouldn't be.
Eh.. Pause background tasks as necessary as the program in front is clearly what is important.
Supposedly allocated as necessary.
The report I read said that allocation was dynamic. Even then, I'm disappointed in both.
Why not allow it to be dynamic, assign as necessary. Let me have improved performance if I choose not to use those features.
I've got a phone, another device, or I'll play a game that simply has people playing. Waiting for matches has only taken time for old or outdated games that don't have a following, and for those games I'd probably set one up with friends instead of waiting for the matchmaking system.
Doesn't mean I can't comment on the design.
If the resources are made available, they can be utilized. On the PC side of things we see a lack of x64 clients because of the x86 legacy support. Can we PLEASE move on to at least support both if not x64 which is the standard these days?
Someone brought that up in another line on this thread, but at least the PS4 is "flexible" according to the docs rather than permanently allocating 3GB to system/snap.
With regards to the Xbox One. My PC can allocate as necessary.
