I live and die by the Steam Overlay. I would much rather GTA V use Steamworks for it's backbone and client security.

Performance can be a major detractor to a good game.
GTA IV didn't run all that well on the Xbox 360 anyway.. Oh boy.
R*SC is pretty lame. You can send messages (somehow), but it's really kind of obscure. In the end, I just talked to buddies using Steam or VOIP apps. R*SC really doesn't bring much to the table other than aggregating information or entering you for contests.
I'll have to give it a try when I get home. I was able to install it before, but there were MASSIVE audio problems.
Of which.. there is no PC release quite yet.
I'd like to think that after that, they've learned their lesson. Max Payne 3 was only The R*SC.
I have been trying.. so damned hard to make this work on Win7x64.
...yeah, what did you tink I meant?
At the very least LOD wasn't an issue on higher-end systems.
It's still a concern, you know. Just because you might be used to it, doesn't mean it can't (and shouldn't be) better.
Just because there's awesome stuff there, doesn't mean potential framerate pitfalls (there were a significant amount of them in GTA IV) and sub 720 resolution isn't a problem.
That and knowing GTA IV's performance on the 360 and PS3, well.. confidence drops.
Ugh.. I can see the jaggies.. also makes me stupidly worried about framerate.
Ricochet?

I left SWTOR for GW2, and while the figurine for Darth Malgus is neato, Rytlock beats it easily.
It's a shining example of what makes Free-to-Play an issue. Rather than focusing on something that encourages people to subscribe and providing content for that, they continue to focus development time on stuff they can sell at inflated free-to-play prices.
Eyup. I have 20 mice from Razer, over half of them have faulty mouse wheels, and some of them can't right-click anymore. RMAs were denied from where I purchased them from and Razer was less than helpful.
"Especially the young women's voices," Miyazaki continued. "It seems like they're all speaking with an 'Aren't-I-so-cute?' voice. That's unbearable. I always want to do something about that."
