Nice tip. For those who are interested in this kind of thing, it’s worth taking a look at Vanderkam’s book about successful people’s morning routines (something like ‘What successful people do before breakfast’).

I’ve already been trying my hand at Amy Cuddy’s power poses. I’ll add this to my arsenal.

I get the urge from smelling it, and I’ve never smoked in my life.

How come your husband didn’t get you a ticket?

This looks immensely cool. Retro chic. Very Blade Runner.

Surprised to see Istanbul so prominent on this list. I visited last year for the first time and it didn’t strike me as exceptionally congested. Whatever the case, it’s still one of the loveliest places to spend time.

I’m a big fan of many of Amazon’s services. They bring a lot of slickness and polish to their offerings. Coincidentally I’m currently on the verge of signing up to Audible as I’ve been listening to a lot of audio content recently and I want to see if an Audible subscription will offer me more value than I usually get

I’ve been using either Avast or Avira on all my machines for the last few years and on balance have generally favoured Avira. I’ve found it runs lighter and less intrusively.

Great. Hope you’ll report back:)

Nice app. Would definitely be interested to see an Android version. For the last few months I’ve been using YNAB to keep track of monthly subscription expenses, but this doesn’t give me any of the notification/reminder options that are available here.

Hey Beth, ever read Murakami’s ‘What I talk about...’? I’m not a runner but I’ve just started reading and I’m really enjoying it. There’s something really charming about how Murakami expresses the intersection between his running and his writing.

‘Try getting a reservation at Dorsia now!’

Internet Typewriter is also worth a look:

True. Too few people ever understand that optimism is a choice.

I’m not usually interested in this kind of thing, but those are some beautiful flowers.

Plus it goes a long way towards making your lunch look like a little tea party:)

I think this is very constructive. Like so much else in life, positivity counts for a lot.

Yeah, the combination of gooey sweetness and charred bitterness is really tasty.

That’s a beautiful video.

Do share...:)
