There’s a lot of truth to this. It’s interesting to note the great number of famous historical figures in every conceivable field who had the very same habit.

This smacks of Benny Hill a little, no?

Definitely worth checking, particularly considering the access to first-class lounges that these tickets usually include.

It’s always been interesting to me to see the popularity of stick antiperspirants/deodorants in North America. In Europe and elsewhere in the world, sticks are available but less prominent in supermarkets and I’ve always favoured the performance and feel of sprays. I’ve been using a Dove Men Care spray for years now

I’m in the market for a VPN that allows me to input proxy settings so I can use it on my work network. Most VPN services that I’ve investigated didn’t appear to offer this facility. Would this do the job or is there an alternative you can suggest?

What’re those fat tyres all about?

Interesting video. As the narrator suggests, small talk isn’t the horrific burden that many people make it out to be. When done well it can be an easy layover on the way to more meaningful conversations.

Thanks so much for such a balanced response. Appreciate the input:)

I may need to get out more, but isn’t this the view that used to greet me on my old XP desktop?

Yeah, you need to look at the cost of a course like this in terms of the potential advantages it may yield. Personal development is one of the best investments you can make in your future.

Love this one:) Been doing it for years.

I love the idea of getting by with just a few pieces of equipment in my living room. Assuming I know what to do with them, can resistance bands and a kettlebell take the place of a well-stocked gym?

It may not be for everyone but I like to stream movies or tv in the background while I sink into whatever project I’m trying to make progress with. It obviously doesn’t work with anything you want to give your full attention to, but it means I can enjoy some casual viewing while doing something more productive.

Yeah, I’ve been happy with Swiftkey so far but the latest improvements in Android’s default offering make me wonder whether it’s necessary to go with third-party keyboards any more.

Great advice. Charles Duhigg’s ‘Power of Habit’ has lots of good stuff on this theme.

A lot of this stuff is mindset. I’ve always loved the idea of a staycation, long before they became fashionable. There’s such a lot of fun to be had spending a few weeks buried in hobbies and personal projects.

I’m desperate to get back into exercise after many years of inertia. My days and nights are filled to breaking point so I’m looking for something with a great ROI. I’ve been hearing a lot about kettlebells these days. Are they as great as people make out?

Nice tip. A great reminder that when it comes to exercise the mental struggle is often as important as the physical.

This is the first time I’ve heard of ‘hidden city ticketing’. I’m surprised the airlines care very much about passengers abandoning the itinerary ahead of the final destination.

Interesting idea. Reminds me of the kind of mental rehearsal I’ve heard elite athletes do before important events.
