If people watch it and like it, who gives a shit? If you don't like it, don't watch it. Isn't that what all of Chappelle's supporters said?

His future is bright. SUPER bright. Nuclear fusion bright.
“The Munsters (original) was low-brow and goofy but it was made by competent professionals who knew what they were doing.”
He’s basically snarking that her diction when trying to act is rather stilted and unnatural, as if she has never spoken English before and is reading her lines out phonetically or something.
Radcliffe has turned what could have essentially been a teen idol situation into a pretty eclectic and interesting career. And him reading the real Deadspin’s Worst Tweets for a few years will always be amazing to me.
No, but it sounds like a sort of droll remark that’s meant more for his own amusement than as an actual put down. He’s talking about kids who are I think 12 or 13 during production, so it’s no wonder he thinks they’re shitty actors. But he was wrong about Radcliffe who is currently quite close to being a great actor…
The wigs in HP are bad. Not as ghastly and fake as the MCU, but still terrible. One wonders if there aren’t enough homosexuals around to advise these (straight male) directors what constitutes a good wig?
Truly, the man who could keep one of Hollywood’s worst wigs from wearing him. Truly, who put that same wig on him eight times and said “yup, no notes” every time?
Snape would have been an unbearable character with almost any other actor in the role
No that was for Mario.
I was Jones Beach (Long Island) to see Alice Cooper and Iron Maiden. I was seated in the nosebleeds. Before the show, I saw a guy wakling past me, eating nachos. He looked ordinary, hair in a pony tail, wearing an Ozzy shirt. Then as people started coming in, he let his hair down and put on round rimmed glasses. He…
Midnight Mass is incredible.
Watched that clip 5 times and still laugh at the Security Guard’s reaction each and every time! Priceless!
Something something Dawes something
Congratulations?
Recurring being the key word. There was internal chatter over making Flagg a regular character because of his popularity, but he was just too broad. He worked only when used judiciously and in small doses.
my fave episode is the one where they all have crazy dreams. very moving although perhaps a bit too on-the-nose.
Hard to argue with the picks for Hawkeye and Margaret - though another one I love for Hawkeye is Bottle Fatigue. (Sticky Wicket is one of my favorite early Hawkeye episodes because it’s the first time they really challenge his massive ego and paint him as actually being flawed.)
It’s true, Knives Out is great because of the scene-to-scene writing, stacked cast, and underlying political commentary. Storywise it’s a bit boilerplate Agatha Christie. Which is fine. It understands murder mysteries are about style, characters, and that cozy, big-fire-in-a-spooky-mansion feeling then the actual…
Lyonne is one of the only two people who could pull off Columbo. The other, Mark Ruffalo.
