I don’t know ... in a way, all of Paul Thomas Anderson’s movies are super hero movies. Adam Sandler in Punch Drunk Love? The Hulk. Daniel Day Lewis’s characters in There Will be Blood and Phantom Thread? Hulk and Hulk. Mark Wahlberg’s penis in Boogie Nights? You guessed it: Hulk.

I was right behind this guy and Maggie (not even going to try to spell either of their last names) and their kids for like 3 hours in customs once. They seemed like fantastic parents and their kids were adorable, funny, and polite as hell.

This is a great point and I’ve also thought a lot about it. I’ve dealt with celebrities of various types and levels of fame for a long time. The people who are “presenters” or “hosts” always strike me as sort of self-important and difficult, whereas people who consider themselves “actors” are often (not always) less…
