Stargirl, to me, had a stellar first season and carved a distinct niche for itself. Pat is one of my favorite TV dads & Cindy/Shiv one of the most compelling & interesting ArrowVerse villains.

I absolutely abhor this trend of “villains aren’t actually the villains” reworks. Some people are just a-holes, Cruella is one of them, and I’ve got no interest in a movie that’s looking to reframe her as some kind of aspirational glass-ceiling-breaker. My only beef with this stance and with this issue is that Swinton is an unusual on screen presence who sort of carries around a lot of mystical ‘ancient one’ energy. Besides race, she was well cast.

I agree with the reasoning. I know certain writers on here think Monica should have been the main lead of the show, but she wasn’t. If scenes need to be cut for timing purposes, anything that doesn’t involve Wanda and/or Vision is first on the chopping block.
