Maybe we as a country shouldn’t have to rely on individual GoFundMe campaigns to fight drug addiction and homelessness, or may for medical bills, or really provide any of the kinds of services that a government in a wealthy country should be able to provide. 

I can see a case for this sort of leak to be damaging to ongoing investigations and/or counterintelligence efforts. 100% transparency when it comes to national security is not a realistic goal.
