Xoom 2 is officially DOA. This is my next tablet.

Even S glass over Kevlar would be superior. The back doesn't need to be laminated, it could just as easily be plastic (more easily, in fact).

A proper knifemaker is equal parts scientist and artist. A good design is not worth anything if it isn't executed properly and with the proper materials. You need an understanding of metallurgy, physics, and the end use to make a great knife.

It's not bulletproof. It is most assuredly made of Kevlar 49. The ballistics stuff is Kev 29.

Is intentionally infecting your child with a disease not punishable as some sort child abuse or negligence?

I have a Xoom and like it, still use it a lot. But I do use it less since I got the S2, and I'm sure as hell not going to buy a tab that's only getting on par with my phone. I'm waiting for the Transformer Prime, as well.

Two words: Poison. Tipped.

Time is on Android's side. This article is about the Xoom, one product that helped Android tabs gain traction but was obsolete before newer Android tabs took up the banner.

Sweet! That means mine's a limited edition!

I have a competing product, I call it "Chair!" Sit on it! Put your bag on it! Stand on it to change a light bulb! Let someone else sit on it! Break Geraldo's nose with it! Works great for resting, playing music, even sex! Chair!

FN HP, gold plated and hand etched. Look like smooth cocobolo grips. Who knows if this idiot put some solid gold in, it's far too soft for actual use.

Ah haaaahhh! So the iPhone is sized for small girl hands and big Android phones are for men!

He, more than anyone else of the 'age of information,' changed the human experience.

I would totally expect a TSA agent in Syracuse at 4:30am to have a different attitude than a TSA agent working JFK or LAX during peak time.

So iPhone 4s is behind S2 (spec wise), and will be way behind Prime when it drops. Which means next spring when the iPhone 5 drops, it'll have to be amaaaaazing if Apple wants to keep the iPhone as a benchmark. Liquid metal case (remember that acquisition) for a radical case redesign, and maybe that's when Sprint will

I want to add these bamboo rods are not just a piece of bamboo. They're long tapered strips of bamboo coopered together, and it's extremely labor and skill intensive to do well.

No, people who fish bamboo are generally nostalgic but serious enthusiasts. It's a whole different casting technique than graphite.

Really? What about the hugely common guy with a $20,000 bass boat? Not to mention you can spend these $ amounts on casting rods/reels. Also, this is high end gear, you can get imported stuff (TFO, etc.) for much cheaper. But Sage, Orvis, etc, they are all hand made in the USA to a very high level, you will not find

I think it could be any phone, and I would hypothesize that it's the social interaction that the phone enables that results in the 'emotional' attachment.

Roz is a well known and well respected person in the paddling/rowing community. A real person indeed.
