The Republicans are trying to swift-boat her, it’s as simple as that. They tried with Bengazi first, and that didn’t get them anywhere, so now they’ve manufactured this. And our sad press corps just regurgitates what gets fed to them, without proper vetting, context or perspective for the reader.
