I never made the argument that he would in fact get in. Time will tell but I personally doubt he will. What I did say is that he is HOF caliber. His stats show he is (and will continue to rise). Arguing team accomplishments is a better indicator on how good an individual is over that individuals stats is pretty weak.

You are not really debating (well at least). You are skirting around responses, narrowing in on tiny points and digging in. You for the most part have been schooled, especially by cdavis17 on football knowledge yet won’t back down in the slightest.

my initial agrument even stated “hof caliber” not “future hofer” but instead of actually countering my argument he went on this weird anti Rivers tirade

I am pretty sure he is just one of those guys that can’t except losing a debate... he will continue to make illogical arguments until you get frustrated and give up, then will call himself the winner and right.

you seem to be basing your arguments from an emotional stand point instead of a factual one. Rivers is #13 all time in passing yards, #12 in pass completions, #9 in passing TDs, #6 all time in completion percentage, #8 in passer ratings, #11 in yards per attempt. I could keep going but I think my point has been made.

Lackluster offense? We were 3rd in the NFL in scoring before we put up 33 yesterday. We don’t have a superstar receiver with Allen out, but we have a HOF caliber QB who knows how to spread the wealth and a wide variety of options that can exploit teams weaknesses.
