Between Mando, Bad Batch, and several books and comics, I’m not sure the prequels have done more world building than Disney. I mean, thanks to Mando, I know what a toilet looks like in Star Wars. Thanks to the prequels… I know about space NASCAR and trade federation negotiations… the toilet seems more important :P

They’re both bad, but I tend to agree with atrimus. Rise was that bad. It has worse pacing issues and everything about Palpatine being in the picture feels lazy. 

Why bash the prequels? They generated more content and worldbuilding to star wars than Disney has done yet. As someone who never played the original (thus has no nostalgia to satisfy), and who doesn’t think 2003 was the nadir of the SWverse (that dishonor goes to Rise of the Skywalker), I’m stoked to see what the remake has in store, simply because I want a modern console Star Wars RPG.

They did disable fighting yes. But I saw one kid using some superhero whip over and over at the big screen which was obviously super distasteful and offensive. I’m surprised they didn’t disable the event emotes all together from the start.
