I think this show probably has some of the best worldbuilding in Star Wars outside of the games.

I had the same thought, but now I’m wondering if they’ve only recently started taking them more seriously because of the Kyoto Animation arson/murders.

Y’know what’s cool about these stories? Japan actually does something about the threats.

Considering Togashi’s health conditions and how much HxH has already given, I wouldn’t be mad if we never got to see the dark continent like ever.

The manga creation process really is madness. I know comics also have the additional layer of color but they basically get a month to produce issues that are of similar length to manga chapters but the japanese only get a week to do it.

He has health problems and the hiatuses are because he can not physically do the work. The health problems go back to them working him to death when he made Yu Yu Hakusho.  So its not him really dragging his feat, and more a problem with the whole system in japan of how the companies abuse the guys making manga.

This article seems framed in a weird way considering it doesn’t at all mention the major mental and physical health stuff Togashi has gone through in the past.

The creator has been struggling with health issues that directly affect his ability to sit and work on the series for years, hence the delays. While as a fan it is incredibly frustrating not to have new chapters, I completely sympathize with what he’s going through
