As a Kansas City resident, this saddens me to no end. No one should endure these kinds of abuse and pain. People are people, and if you hurt or try to hurt another person you are a monster.

Also check out There Will Be Blood, which the NYT movie critics argued as the best film of the 21st century so far.

I can’t reply to the replies because I am not approved, but the explanation is this (and believe me, it took me a while to figure it out too):

I saw Darby Allin jump onto BrodyKing’s back with a skateboard with thumbtacks on the bottom of it at a PWG show and ever since then he has been my son and I love and support him in all of his endeavors.

It also reinforces the idea that kids should lie and not own up to their actions

In another timeline this family is running AMC.

I guess we’ll have to take their word for it that Kim Jong Un scored 10 goals, 5 touchdowns, 8 homeruns and 15 wickets.

Heard that very talking point parroted yesterday by one of the local radio hosts, who repeatedly insisted the team is in a playoff chase because it’s only two games out of first place in the division. Washingtonians might actually attend the game if the stadium weren’t so Far From Home.

If someone feels attacked by a note calling out rapists, perhaps some self-reflection is in order...?

Fans might take the game more seriously if it weren’t being called Snyder-Man: Homecoming

...a male student felt targeted by the notes and no longer left safe attending class.”

There’s really only one reason to feel targeted by the notes. Maybe he shouldn’t feel safe - anywhere. A taste of his own medicine.

This is a great point! Penn & Teller did an episode of their show Bullshit on criminal justice. At the end they make the point: even if you don’t give a shit about locking people up (which, they point out, you should), every innocent person locked up means one real criminal we’ve stopped looking for

It’s a hell of a lot easier for an upper middle class kid to say no to a (ultimately slim) chance at 50 grand in exchange for his properly functioning brain than one who needs to work after school to help his mom buy groceries. It’s a system the preys upon the desperation of poor people, be they informed or not, and I

Can you share your personal details so I can make sure you're consulted on all my major decisions? Thanks.
