When Philip started having memories of his own life and regrets over how little he knew about this dad, his resistance to letting Paige into their lives and secrets started to melt away. 100% agree. It's interesting to me as how many people read that scene as a sign of the strength of the Jenning's marriage and it may be a sign of that, but the bigger point is that she's manipulating the situation to get Philip out of his Russian doldrums and back on the task at hand.
