Jesus you people are insane.

I don’t think people appreciate how amazing Serena is. She’s playing at a level no other woman can compare to at an age where most women have retired or at best are sitting around where her sister is sitting in the rankings.

Two time honored American traditions:

I actually think the Democratic party and progressive take for granted, the votes of Black women.

No, they’re not, but the Black female vote for Obama was 95% in the 2012 election. There is a lot of diverse thinking and beliefs among Black women, but let’s not play like we’re voting for the GOP in any great numbers.

If Black women were the only demographic allowed to vote the U.S. would have a living minimum wage, universial healthcare, labor rights, well funded public schools.etc. Black women voters are typically progressive and emphathetic on social policies.. They are more likely to vote for the collective good. Unfortuately a

Personality-wise, Ronda and Serena occupy the same space: bullies whose dominance have earned them their right to talk shit. Race is a factor. It is the factor.

So weak. Go away.

Seems like you lay most of the responsibility for the hagiography at Gray’s feet, but with Dre and Ice Cube producing (not to mention Cube’s son playing him) it wasn’t going to turn out any other way.

The government is an extension of the populace. America doesn’t care much for black people.

I understand everything you’re fucking saying. You’re not really that fucking bright. You’re condescending as hell but not with any actual brilliance to make it remotely palatable. So do get over yourself.

Listen here you condescending, motherfucker. You separate yourselves from Black people at ever fucking chance, you ignore us when we talk about problems that affect us, you keep us out of the higher paying jobs, you redline us into undesirable neighborhoods and then when Black people get together to try to get

“He walked with MLK for God’s sake.” So? Does that automatically make him the candidate for blacks and other minorities?

That’s such a ridiculous thing. You think he is good enough for you. That doesn’t mean the black community see him as good.

I can see that but she addressed it. She said she doesn’t identify with it and neither do the people in her professional life. She addressed hip hop as a subculture (and she’s extremely right about that) that has not defined her. Once that was established, the interviewer should have dropped it entirely.

Her mother is half-Scottish and half-Cape Verdean; that doesn’t make her mother black and that damn sure doesn’t make Amber Rose black. The bottom line is this; in this nation Amber Rose enjoys white skin privilege. She is given credibility that black women are not given. By some she’s considered white; by other’s

What does the full quote change? She literally said “I DON’T CONSIDER MYSELF A BLACK WOMAN.” When she says she’s biracial she doesn’t say one of those races is black. What will it take before some of you will acknowledge that she outright rejected blackness?

Her father is Irish and Italian; her mother is half-Scottish/half-Cape Verdean. And Cape Verdean is not synonymous with black. She identifies as Portuguese, Italian and Irish. Rose herself said: “I do not consider myself a black woman. Absolutely not.” So please enlighten me, by what metric is Amber Rose a black woman?

The questions were really shady. She initially said did not identify as Superhead and she kept being called Superhead. Her questions seemed condescending, from what I read.
