Payton probably needs to be adopted. This sounds incredibly shitty.

I watched two idiots dance around this topic recently. They both said they needed more information and felt people were just being too politically correct. It's a RACIAL SLUR. What other information do you need?

Can we hurry up and get to a point where a 30-45 year old white guy is not the default "best person for the job."

I'm more than a little disgusted that a yeast infection has been regulated to something worse than original sin by the cast of the show. I don't know if they are just unaware of what a yeast infection actually is or what, but it is ridiculous.

The Tumblr you linked to, Unpleasant Myles, exposes an actual smorgasbord of fuckery and inappropriateness. I had no idea Youtube was home to so many slimy characters. I only watch smoky eye tutorials. What is this madness?!

Vanity sizing actually helped curb my shopping habit. When you want a blouse, but have to try on 3-4 sizes of said blouse just to figure out what fits, it kills your shopping boner.

I'm waiting in that line too. Why are so many pants/jeans designed for women with calves and thighs the same size?

She will and she did.

I know white America will avoid, ignore and deny the issue for as long as they are a majority in America, and probably a quite a while after that. It is just frustrating, maddening and downright hurtful to see so much selective ignorance on parade, day-in and day-out. My comment was rhetorical, really.

Thank you. I read the comments and my jaw dropped. Jezebel commenters are often tone-deaf but this is a bit much.

Why do white people think they get to decide if something is offensive or not? I'm frequently stumped by this, but the Washington name change and now this comment section have driven it home for me. You don't get to decide. This is not your call. The tweets are offensive. Period. For a number of reasons. As in,

You can kindly take this shitty little excuse and put it where the sun don't shine.

There is a national police brutality crisis and I do not know how much longer white America will ignore it. It boggles my mind that white people can freely, openly and frequently discuss brutality in other countries, but refuse to address what is happening here.

I guess I should have expected this. Once durags were Columbused, the natural progression is cornrows. Will waves and wave caps be next? I hope so. Oh, the lols that will be had.

I don't think anything angers me like a non-apology, apology. I would prefer it if people would just say, "You know what? Fuck it. I meant it and I don't care." The slap in the face that is a trussed up justifcation, moonlighting as an apology? I cannot deal with it. I feel like my head is going to spin around like

Thanks, but no thanks. I'll stick with my classic wheat-colored Timbs. My favorite color actually is pink, so I usually get stuck with a bunch of Pepto Bismol colored gifts from well-meaning people, but I really hope these stay far away. Far, far away.

I couldn't agree more about the non-mother attention. There are so many things that play a role in parenthood and parent-child relationships. I sincerely worry that a child would find me cold or disinterested because of my personality. Expressing that or seeking help should not be a problem.

Planes are torture chambers for neurotic people with OCD tendencies. People do the most disgusting things during flights and I just don't understand why.

I definitely relate. I'm an introvert and wonder how much that affects my feelings about being a mother. My mother and I have a great relationship but she is a bubbly, textbook extrovert and I think sometimes she struggled to relate to me, especially during my teen years.

This must be what leads parents to develop selective-hearing.
