I was going to post this, thanks.

He missed a really good opportunity to make this better. In his “proof” video, he should have thrown it even more weird and acted like all is well now.

Whoops, forgot to change “the intangible” to something else, like “bragging rights. Someone who values a manual transmission over a faster auto because it’s more fun by definition values an intangible thing over quantifiable things like 0-60 performance that can be more logically valued.

Oh man, for some reason your statement feels pretty bold to me haha. I mean they did keep the price of the whole car under $60,000!

The unfortunate reality is that the people whose main objective when jumping into a sports car is to “have fun” are a minority. Most people, particularly those who can actually afford expensive cars, seem to find a lot more value in the intangible. Nothing wrong with that, just a bummer when it ends up dwindling my

I’m sure Chevy is thinking hard about Ford’s Ficus/Fiesta issues, heh.

If I were to become a billionaire overnight, I’d probably own Isdera within a year. I’m pretty sure it’s just an old man in a garage now. Actually I think it has always been that.

Not sure how this is the first time I’ve heard of this “pop-off” bullshit. That’s some fucking incredibly bass ackward sportsmanlike conduct.

Face tattoos.

I believe this is temporary while Rob is away. Get your kicks out of it while it lasts.

I think the real rivalry is now WRX vs. STI - which do you buy? From 2011-2014 it became a little bit harder call for once, instead of a no-brainer “get the STI if you can afford it!” And then after 2015? No contest for me, WRX unless you plan to go to the track frequently and/or build the car up.

Didn’t read, will have to later when I get time! I think from the first days of the rivalry through to 2015, the overall verdict is EVO = the raw track/auto-x performance option of choice, WRX STi = the all-around option to actually live with. Pretty consistent.

I was going to say something about pickles and chocolate milk, but I looked down at the guys eating condiment sandwiches and saltines with ketchup to survive and realized 1. I’ve been a pretty fortunate guy and 2. I just have fucked up taste.

My sternest advice to young car buyers is to do whatever you can to pry the emotional “want” away from the practical need. Get the car you need paid off, and then think about getting something you want as a project a little further down the road. Advice I wish I received back when I bought my first new car.

Chalk me up as another “seen it and believe it” guy. Looks killer. Though I never thought it looked bad in pictures.

Everyone is overthinking this. It’s pure obliviousness, 99% of the time. It’s still worth getting pissed about though.

His comments on the styling are totally unacceptable. I was expecting some scorching hot James Mayisms.

Now playing

Man, there are so many genres of beamng drive crashing videos, you have no idea. At least it seems like you don’t. my 5 year old son is a connoisseur. (Yes, I carefully restrict his uptake.) Most of this stuff is trash.. it seems that brain-drilling EDM is a mandatory requirement for such content?? But some is funny

I’m kind of impressed that he realized someone shoved him. My head would probably still be spinning a bit at that point and it wouldn’t have registered.

Judging by where that massive venturi tunnel goes, and the other things I can see, it seems like the transmission is beneath the engine to a large degree. This lends some weight to a “pretty much flat 12" engine theory.
